I decided to give Homestyle Direct a try after a nurse in the home health field recommended it to me. I asked my mom to try several of the meals. She is in her mid-80’s and is a picky eater. She was very impressed with how well the entire order was packed and shipped. The meals were still completely frozen when she got them. The portion sizes are generous. She said that the vegetable were cooked just right, the fish was white, moist and flaky and the meats were moist and tender. The meals were tasty. There were a couple that she did not like, but then again, she is very picky! The filters on the menu make it very easy to customize an order to meet dietary restrictions. I have since recommended Homestyle Direct to several other people. The meals are ideal for anyone who does not have the time or skills to prepare healthy meals for themselves – from college age through old age!!!
