Thank you for your wonderful tasting meals. It makes our life as caretakers a little easier knowing that the meals are prepared and ready. The quality is great!

I received my first month’s shipment and was so overwhelmed with thanks. I’m on disability, and live with my 3 dogs. Groceries are hard to buy on my budget. But with the help of my case worker and Medicaid, I am now eating nutritious meals from your company — GOOD FOOD, too! God Bless you all!

My wife was looking for something Mom could make for just one person that didn’t involve cooking. She found your site, and we are happy to say you have far exceeded expectations! Mom loves the selections, taste, and convenience. Her morning blood glucose levels have also been excellent! Thanks for your efforts!

Power Oats Breakfast Bread…

3 ½ C – Flour
½ C – Homestyle Direct Power Oats*
1 ¾ C – Water
1 Pkg – Yeast
2 Tsps.- Salt

In a bowl combine flour, oats, yeast, water, adding salt last.
(My dad placed the bowl, covered in a cool oven)
Let sit overnight or at least 12 to 14 hours.
Shape dough into a loaf.

Place an empty Dutch oven into oven and heat until it reaches 500 degrees.
Remove from oven and place parchment paper in the bottom of the Dutch oven and dough on top of parchment paper.
Cover and bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees.
Return to oven and bake additional 20 minutes uncovered at 450 degrees.
Remove when the bread is nice and brown.
Place bread on a wire rack for a couple of hours to cool.

*We used the original Breakfast Power Cereal, giving the bread slight cinnamon flavor. We decided to sample the bread with raspberry jelly.  We thought it would also be delicious if used for French toast. Unfortunately, we ran out of bread before the next morning.
